Recently I decided to work on my profile in ACX a little more. I finished a course on Working from Home Doing Voiceovers with Julie Eichols. Then I started auditioning on ACX and received an offer to record narration for a special audiobook. About two months later, the finished product is now available on audible.

The author and producer wanted to share some information about financial literacy with young people, and I was glad to take part in the project. Not only did I find some interesting pearls of wisdom to share, but I found that the author did a good bit of research from various sources, and I started learning about things I wished that I learned in my teens and twenties. The recording was the easy part. The editing and mastering that followed was work that demanded time and attention; but it was work that I enjoyed. Thanks again to the author, Ethan Wealthman, and our producer, Yiyuan Wang, as we worked together to bring the book to life. Who knows what other book or books I may become involved with? Only time will tell.

The project was great to work on. I hope to do other kinds of VoiceOver work as well. I may not have to have a big project like this one was, but I am open to considering smaller projects as well.
